Will there ever be another "Great Generation?

Who will be the next "Greatest Generation?" If you are a parent, as am I, and grew up with parents who got married not long after World War II, you must feel a sense of loss, frustration and sadness. It it not any one party's fault, or on any one leader's entirety of conscience. But when we can't even take care of our own people, how can we call ourselves great, or even mediocre? Tell me . . .
